McHone Events is led by founder Ashley McHone, whose nearly 15 years of experience in wedding planning and event design have shaped a refined, hospitality-driven approach to celebration. Her work is rooted in the belief that the most meaningful weddings are those that feel natural, intentional, and deeply personal — where beauty, logistics, and experience are seamlessly woven together rather than treated as separate elements.

Our inspiration comes from the worlds of architecture, travel, nature, and design. A villa on Lake Como, a boutique retreat in Mexico, a modern estate in California — each setting carries its own rhythm, and we design weekends that move in harmony with it. Your wedding doesn’t simply happen in a destination; it becomes an organic extension of it.

There were many times where I would say ‘I know these are little things but I want to get them right.’ Instead of breezing over them, she took the time to make sure we planned for those small things from the tablescape, to the specific fruits I wanted in my flowers to changing the menu several times. Ashley encouraged me to make everything just the way we wanted it, and she always found a way to make it happen. She had everything managed so well and coordinated ahead of time that there was no rushing– everyone was relaxed all morning before the wedding. Hiring her was definitely the best decision we made.
